Sticker + Mycélium = Stickélium
This simple equation produced an invisible mycelium made of artists, bookmakers and art lovers (you!), which is as incredibly diverse as the mycological inspiration, these stickers being the mushrooms of this metaphorical mycelium, growing and popping to the light for your delight.
The mushroom kingdom feeds on death (or turn ants into literal zombies) and yet sustains life like no other - mycorrhiza, the underground symbiosis between the mycelium and the plants, enables trees to exchange nutrients and information, like an Internet of Nature. It reproduces itself through any conceivable means, from asexual cloning to a record of 30.000 different sexes in one species. Its universally intriguing cultural presence, from fairy tales to the shaman’s starter kit, its incredible promises in biotechnology or its generous gifts of bread & beer to humans (thank you, yeasts!) are some of the elements that inspired the marvelous artists who grew their artworks in these pages.

Cette simple équation a produit un mycélium invisible fait d'artistes, d'éditeurs et d'amateurs d'art (vous !), ensemble qui est aussi incroyablement divers que l'inspiration mycologique qui le nourrit. Ces autocollants sont les champignons de ce mycélium métaphorique, croissant jusqu'à la surface pour votre plaisir.
Le règne fongique se nourrit de la mort (ou transforme littéralement des fourmis en zombies), et pourtant, soutient la vie comme nul autre - la mycorhize, symbiose souterraine du mycélium et des végétaux, permet aux arbres d'échanger nutriments et informations, comme une sorte d'Internet de la nature. Les mycètes se reproduit par tout procédé imaginable, du clonage asexué à un incroyable record de 30 000 sexes différents au sein d'une espèce. Son aura culturelle est indubitablement universelle, des les contes de fées au kit de base de n'importe quel shaman, et ses promesses fascinantes en matière de biotechnologie ou encore ses généreux dons de la bière et du pain à l'humanité (merci les levures !) sont quelques uns des éléments qui ont pu inspirer les merveilleux artistes qui ont fait pousser leurs œuvres dans ces pages. 12 femmes et 12 hommes dont la technique, l'imagination et l'histoire personnelle forment l'écosystème esthétique riche, varié, plein de caractère et absolument enchanteur dont je rêvais lorsque j'ai commencé la chasse aux artistes à champignons.
