Each work is not isolated: it connects to all the other Isles in the collection of the collector, forming a real-time shared artwork rather than a single lonely piece, transforming the act of collecting into the experience of building and archipelago.
It wouldn't be a worthy piece of blockchain mythology if it didn't embody loss and grieving on the blockchain, and strive to become the ritual place to let go and mourn the digital entities known as NFTs.
Controls:
- simple click: music starts
- double-click toggles the music on and off
- simple click on the Psychopomp copies the BurnAddress to your clipboard and starts a dialogue where you can go back to the art ('I shall mourn alone'), access a video version of your artwork ('I would appreciate a final memory'), travel to the rest of the Isles owned by the same wallet ('I feel I had nother place to be.'), or start the burning ritual ('I accept your guidance...').
Within the psychopomp's guidance, the vessel is the wallet of choice, 'remembering who you were' means you sign in with it, 'remembering where it was' means typing in the smart contract address of the token you wish to let go, and 'remembering what it was' is the number of token in the smart contract. Remember anything sent to the 0xdead is forever, proceed with caution.
